Edgewood Creamery

At Edgewood Creamery, you have the luxury of seeing it to believe it! In the retail shop of the creamery, there is a glass window, where you can see the cheese being made. You will often see Kelly Hayes, head cheese maker, working diligently to create the handcrafted cheeses you all enjoy! We want our customers to be able to see where their food comes from, and we make that possible. At our creamery, customers can see our cows grazing the lush pastures surrounding the creamery, and actually watch the cheeses being made!

Edgewood Creamery strives to make your shopping experience personal. We invite customers to come to the creamery and meet us and talk a little cheese and milk talk!  As consumers shop at Edgewood Creamery, they will experience the love and consideration for consumers as well as the product itself.

Our History

Picture
During the summer of 2013 an idea was born, why not take the high quality milk we produce on Edgewood Dairy and make a value added product?  Thus the idea of “Farmstead Cheese” was conceived.

Fletcher's knew their son Tyler and his wife, Aubrey, would be graduating college soon and they would be contributing to the farm, they felt that the Farmstead Cheese Business was worth pursuing.

So, Melissa began making cheese in her kitchen, she discovered that not only could she make good cheese, but she enjoyed making it very much. After many hours of cheese making, research and educational classes, the creamery was put into full swing.

Building Edgewood Creamery began in October of 2014, and was completed late summer 2015.  Edgewood Creamery officially opened it's doors August 10, 2015.

After four years of operating the creamery the Fletcher's decided to fulfill a lifelong dream to move to Colorado so they decided to sell their dairy and the creamery which is now owned and operated by Kenny and Kelli Stephens.
